How works are judged

Several judges, with a scoring method for each round type. How each round is judged is set out in the Game Rules.

  1. AnonymousJudges score works without the authors' names.
  2. Head-to-head and by criteriaIn some rounds judges compare works in pairs; in others they score by criteria: originality, composition, technique.
  3. Opponent-awareYour FPL Rating grows more when you beat a strong work.
  4. VerifiedAI and distorting edits are banned. If in doubt, we ask for photos of the work in progress.

Frequently asked questions

Can beginners join?

Yes. After round one you compete in your own league, with artists at a similar level.

Do I have to play every Game of the season?

No. You can join the season at any Game. But to reach the Super Final through the season standings, you need to play several Games.

How do I get into the Super Final?

Take 1st–3rd place in Gold or 1st place in Silver in any Game. Or through the season standings: 2 of 3 Games in Gold, or all 3 Games in Silver or Gold.

How much does it cost?

The first Game is free for every new participant. The entry fee for later Games is published before they start.

What if I miss the deadline?

Late works are not accepted, the Game doesn't count toward the season and no certificate is issued. You can keep painting out of competition.

Do I need a model?

Not always. It depends on the brief; child models are allowed.

Can I join from another country?

Yes. The League is online, so you can join from any country.

How is the ban on AI and heavy editing enforced?

AI and distorting edits are banned. If needed, we may ask for photos or video of the work in progress.

Where does the League take place?

Online. Briefs and submissions go through the Telegram or VK bot.
